There are many ways gas is used in the household; floor heating, stoves and water heaters can all be gas powered. While gas is a clean power source it can be volatile and it is important to be careful when using it.
To ensure your safety, here are some tips on how to use gas safely from your gas bureau in China:
1. The gas hose should be changed every two years, ensuring that wear and tear is not an issue.
2. Always shut down the small valve after cooking, located near to the connection between the hose and metal gas pipe.
3. If you are out of home over the long-term, the general gas valve should be shut down.
4. Keep flames away from gas pipes and hoses.
5. When changing gas tanks, always close them tightly.
